  • 1 Australia Post can accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club credit cards as required by billing organisations
    2 EFTPOS is not available at some smaller outlets. Minimum purchase available is $10.00. Bank transaction fees may apply.
    3 Australia Post accepts Visa, MasterCard, debit cards for Post Billpay payments based on the requirements of the billing organisation.
    4 Mobile phone calls will be charged at mobile phone rates.
  • Please note billing organisations may limit the value of payments or only accept payments from your nominated payment method. Payment methods could include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and PayPal.

How Post Billpay® works for billers

Once you're set up with Post Billpay, the process is as easy as 1,2,3:

  1. Add the Post Billpay logo, barcode and payment details to any bills you send to your customers
  2. Your customers use Post Billpay to pay your bill using the payment channel of their choice
  3. We provide daily financial reports to you and bank any payment funds into your nominated account the next working day

Easy ways for your customers to pay

When you become a Post Billpay biller, your customers can pay your bills quickly and securely using their preferred payment channel.

  • Online - customers can pay their bills by credit card, debit card, or PayPal account1 at any time, day or night, via our website
  • Smartphone - customers can pay their bills on the go when they download our new Post Billpay mobile application onto their smartphone
  • In person - more than 4,400 Post Offices can process Post Billpay payments made by cash, cheque, EFTPOS or credit card1 (to make paying bills even easier, we're also trialling new self-service terminals)
  • By phone - your customers can use our helpful Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system to pay bills by credit card1 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (our Post Billpay customer support team is available to help at any time during the call)
  • 1 You can choose which payment methods you'd like to offer your customers in consultation with our Postbillpay® customer support team. Credit cards accepted by Australia Post for bill payments include Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners credit card. Visa and MasterCard debit cards and PayPal payments can be accepted on the Internet.
